DIAGNOSTIC SOFTWARE & PLATFORM : automated findings and insights to help doctors to provide accurate diagnosis
With the advance of artificial intelligence, the demand for medical image advancement is increasing. In recent years, the field of medical imaging stimulated by the technologic advances have grown tremendously. However, this growth only applied to diagnostic radiology departments and were highly researched regarding ways to improve imaging techniques such as X-ray, CT, MRI, and PET. Even in surgical departments, the new wave of innovation started to incorporate various AI systems into surgical simulations and procedures. With the convergence of surgical robotics with AI and data gathered from robotic systems, robots such as Da Vinci and Watson have started to gain massive attention from medias and society and surgical departments started to incorporate these robots. However, microscopic medical images such as peripheral blood morphology, bone marrow biopsy, and other biopsies such as CSF, sputum, tissue biopsy etc. are somewhat neglected. (Clinical laboratories are a critical component of health care. Approximately 80% of physicians’ diagnoses are a result of laboratory tests.)
Patients’ pathological, cytological image analysis behind-the-scenes in Laboratory Medicine Department, and Clinical Pathology Department is as important as diagnostic radiology and even surgery in achieving the optimal outcome of a patient in diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis. In fact, the use of microscopic analysis in medical images is one of the most commonly performed tests in the clinical laboratory. However, surprisingly, most procedures of microscopic examination is performed manually and as a result, it is highly labor-intensive, time-consuming, and lacks standardization in high-volume laboratories.

To improve and shorten these procedures, Artix team has developed Deep learning based Microscopic Image Analysis of Liquid Biopsy and its implementations on Clinical (Surgical) Decision Support System. Our system can deliver critical lab data at a point of care to help improve quality and reduce costs. Introduction of innovative advancements in laboratory testing technology such as our solution can serve this market as a high impact-rendering driver. Our solution can maximize efficiency and minimize diagnostic errors and reduce healthcare expenditures. With an aim to make testing processes simple and enhance efficiency, Artix team is certain to have a significant impact in the lab industry.
